Leah's Baptism - Feb 19, 2017

We were joined by our family on Sunday 2/19 to celebrate Leah's baptism into the Catholic Church.  We made it through the church service before the baptism with a little cat nap and no meltdowns from the older 2 kids, so we were optimistic about the baptism.

John and I chose Brian and Gina Gemalsky as Leah's godparents.  John has known Brian and Gina since his Lansing Catholic days in High School.  Over the years, we have all become close friends.  I know that John values Brian's friendship for many reasons.  We both knew this was an easy choice in asking them to be Leah's godparents because of their commitment to faith as well as the example they will serve as loving and caring parents as the years continue to go by.  We were truly thrilled when they said yes.

Here are some of the pictures from the baptism, courtesy of Cassie :)

It was a great service and we were so thankful for family joining us to celebrate this special event!

After church we headed over to Relli's to have some pizza with family and Brian and Gina.  Hannah and Noah got a kick out of playing pinball.  Noah enjoyed climbing up the bar asking for quarters too.  :)
