Hannah will be in the 3 year old preschool class. It meets 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 11:45-2:15pm. She will go to childcare in the mornings at the school from 8-class time and I will pick her up when she is done her preschool day.
We had an open house a few weeks ago and Hannah had a blast. She had no problem playing, exploring her classroom, and chatting with the other kids. Seeing her like that, I have no doubt that she will be 100% fine when the year begins.
John took the morning off from work and we took Hannah to breakfast to celebrate the big day. What a little ham :)
After we came home, Hannah got dressed in the new dress she picked out for her first day. Like a true crazy Mom, I made a cute sign and made Hannah pose for WAY too many pictures. She was a trooper and only whined a little bit. She was more anxious to leave the house and go to school!
Posing for a few more pictures outside of the school.
Standing in front of her cubby in the classroom. One final picture in the class before the parents were sent on their way. She gave us both big hugs and we assured her we would pick her up once the day was over. She said "I'll be fine Mom" and went back to her playdoh. John and I turned to leave as I choked back tears. Before we got to the door, my little princess yelled "Mommy, wait!" and ran over to us to give us both one final hug. And off we went.
Hannah loved school and everything about it! She was so excited to tell me about everything they did. I know it will be a great learning experience for her and I can't wait to see how much she will grow!
I took Hannah for ice cream to celebrate her first day. Of course she choose vanilla with sprinkles :)
Noah went to daycare for the day and I had to snap a few pictures of the 2 kids together once I picked him up! This is how Noah was snuggling with his sissy. It's safe to say he really missed her while she was gone :)
Just like that, my sweet, little baby is growing up and off to conquer the world. I can't believe how precious time is and how quickly it passes by. Somebody pinch me now :(
