the Herr's 40th Wedding Anniversary Party

On our trip to visit my family in PA, we had the pleasure of celebrating my parents 40th wedding anniversary.  40 years!  Now that's a marriage and commitment to celebrate!  In this day when divorce and unfaithful marriage is so sadly the norm, a long-lasting and loving marriage is worth celebrating!! My parents actual anniversary was in April, but they wanted to have a party where all our family could be there so they planned it for the week we came to visit. (and a better chance of nice, warm weather)
Lots of pictures were taken, lots of fun moments shared, and one beautiful couple enjoyed this day most of all!  My parents eloped as young adults, so in some ways, this was a belated reception for them.  I really hope they enjoyed themselves with memories to last them another 40 years!  Love you Mom and Dad!
