Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the best man in my life!  We have been together for over a decade (CRAZY!)  We've laughed and cried and seen each other through the best and worst and everything in between.  But still, whenever I look at you, I feel even more love than I've ever felt before.  And now when I see you with our children, I am in even more awe at how much you love them.  It makes my heart happy seeing you with them and knowing that you will always be there.

We spent the morning/afternoon at the lake where John's parents have a "cottage" (beautiful house is more like it).  It was a sunny and warm day and we were able to enjoy some outside time.  When we got there, we took a little pontoon ride around the lake.  This was Noah's first time :)  John helped Hannah "fish", she didn't know, but there was no hook attached.

We came home before nap time so we could all get some sleep.  Unfortunately I had to go to work that evening, so naps were essential!  John did some yardwork as we napped, perfect for him!  For dinner, John grilled up some steaks and veggies which was delicious.

I headed into work and left John with both kiddos.  He gave them baths and hoped for the usual bedtime routine. But Noah had some other plans as he decided to stay up and help John celebrate all the way until midnight.  Oh well... but all in all, a lovely Father's Day with family.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!  Including my own Dad.  He was the first man I loved, and still do.  My dad is a great example to me on how to love and show your family you care for them.  Love you Dad!  Sending you a bug hug across the miles :)
