Hannah's First Haircut

Hannah had her first hair cut!  We decided it was time to cut the crazy head of hair this girl had going on!  It was getting pretty long in the back and the sides, and could use a little trim.  Anna Bratta had recommended a hair stylist who was good with Teagan, so we gave her a try.

I was prepping Hannah all morning for the big event.  Telling her she had to sit still, that it didn't hurt, and she would look so pretty when it was all done.

She did absolutely wonderful!  The stylist suggested Hannah sit on my lap for her first time.  Hannah was fascinated with watching her in the mirror and looking at the Christmas tree that was sitting right next to her station.  Hannah will definitely do fine next time sitting by herself.

  

 

  

It really wasn't much, but it was a big event for Hannah!  She looks so different even with a little less hair.  And now as I write this, I totally wanted to save a piece of her hair that was cut off, but I forgot :(  Silly baby brain!  I knew I wanted to keep one before we went to the appointment, but didn't even think about it once we got there.  Seriously, if I don't write everything down that I need to do, it doesn't get done.  I can't remember a dang thing!  But oh well, can't worry about it now.
