Julia and Keith's wedding in Traverse City

At the end of our Silver Lake vacation, we headed over to "town" to attend John's cousin's wedding.  Julia and Keith's wedding was located on the beach and the reception was at the Park Place Hotel.  

The wedding was beautiful, being married on the beach was always something I would have loved to do.  (maybe for a vowel renewal someday!)  Julia was a stunning bride!  Minus it being a little windy, it was a perfect day for a beach wedding!  

I don't know about the rest of you, but every time I go to a wedding, part of me always tears up as I'm reminded of my own wedding day.  The anxious nerves, the unrequited love felt, the beauty of the moment, are all brought back into my mind when I witness another's special day.  If I could go back to our wedding day, I wish I would have memorized every single moment.  Its amazing how you will always remember the feelings you felt, but I want to be able to re-live every single detail again.  I would walk down that aisle a million times all over again because I know at the end of that day, I married my best friend, my soul mate.  There is no one in this world I would want to spend the rest of my life with!! 

     

But enough of being sappy.... onto the rest of the wedding!!  My wonderful friends Bobbi and Nick watched Hannah for us as we attended the first part at the beach.  Although Hannah slept the whole time we were gone, it was so awesome of them to do that for us.  We took Hannah to the reception for a little bit.  Pretty much all of John's family is from out of town, so it was really nice to see everyone.  Hannah did wonderful, she sort of cooperated for pictures, she ate her food great, got to visit with second cousins, great-aunt/uncles, great grandparents, and grandparents.  But she had definitely had her share of partying by the end of the night, she was ready to call it quits. (as were her vacation-exhausted parents)

Spending some cuddle time with Auntie Jo!!  Thank you so much to Bobbi and Nick for having us stay at your home and watching our special cargo.  You are such a good friend to me/us, I wish we lived closer!  (come on, you can move to Lansing!! haha)
