11 Months

You are such a big girl, we can't believe how quickly things change with you.  You are growing before our eyes, I only hope we are taking as much in as possible!!

Here's what you've been up to this month:
You are such an active little peanut, you are literally EVERYWHERE!!  You are practically running behind your push toy, lifting it up and moving it around.  We love to chase you around and hear you giggle as you try to escape from us.  You've been taking 3-4 steps on your own here and there, but you have no desire to walk without your silly toy.  Soon you'll figure it out then we'll be in trouble!

You just love your books!  You love turning the pages by yourself now and you are so happy when you see what’s on the page you’ve opened to.  You love your flip books and already know what is behind the flaps before you flip them up or down.  You have some favorite books that you always go for too.  They are: Spring, Where's baby's belly button, Baby loves spring, Seashore baby, B is for Bear, I love you stinky face, and Goodnight moon.

You are so alert and aware of your surroundings, we can't sneak anything past you without you catching onto it.  The same goes for when we go anywhere, you seem to be aware of everything that is going on.  We hope you are learning and picking up everything you can!!

You have been eating good still.  You are having a hard time adjusting to “real people” food.  You will try new foods but for some reason you don’t want to swallow them. You almost seem to gag yourself by shoving your fingers so far into your mouth to retrieve the food back!  The choking has not been too pleasant and has seemed to limit how much we are giving you.  But you haven’t given us a hard time with any of the food you have eaten, you don’t seem to be very picky.  You certainly haven’t turned us down yet!

You now have all 4 of your top teeth and still only 2 on the bottom.  You were a little more sensitive to your 2 middle top teeth coming in, but I wouldn't say really fussy.  Hopefully with your "new teeth" this will help you start to eat a little bit better.

You have been so excited about playing with balls, you try to throw them, and enjoy watching them roll towards you.  I know your daddy loves that!  Hopefully he can have you dribbling a basketball soon!!

You are a pretty talkative little lady still.  The words you are saying: Mama, dada, hi, bye, baby, baba, ball, book, duck, quack (-ack), clock, and still working on those P words: puffs, puppy, Poppy, Pam, and Paul.

Here are our monthly pictures:
