Mother's day is certainly a day where I get to count my blessings and remember how truly thankful I am to be a mom. I never doubted that I wanted kids and these two make me a better person every single day. They have taught me how to love selflessly, give a little more when you think you've got nothing left, smile more, laugh even more, say sorry, give hugs and kisses, and listen. My kids have given me the greatest gift ever, the chance to be their momma, and I am forever grateful for this role I have in my life.
My day was spent relaxing and trying to take it easy. We headed to church and then a little visit to my in-laws. We came home to play and take naps, then headed out to Brody (at MSU) for dinner. We arrived early enough to beat most of the crowd and avoided the lines. Dinner was delicious (and filling). We came home and took a nice walk and capped the day off with more playing. It was perfect and everything I needed. My husband, kids, nice day, and relaxation!

I wouldn't be the mother I am today without giving most, if not all of the credit to my own mother. She is everything I can only hope to become some day. She is always giving herself to others without question, never doubting and always supportive, she loves without boundaries. My mother is simply the best! I can never tell her enough how much I love her or be able to thank her for everything she has ever done for me. She is my rock, my biggest fan, the one person I will always turn to for advice and I know she will be there. I am forever grateful and thankful to have her as my mom. Love you always Mom!
Happy Mother's Day to everyone!!
