Noah - 2 Months

This handsome little boy is two months old! It's so hard to believe it. I really can't understand how time passes so quickly these days.

                                                                                         My two munchkins!

Hannah really loves her little brother, some days more than others.  As I sit and type this, she sees the pictures and tells me "He's my cute, favorite little boy."  She is good with him, he loves to watch her.  When Noah hears her voice, his head turns toward where she is.  Hannah does not like hearing Noah cry.  She typically yells at him to be quiet or stop crying.  For whatever reason, Hannah has no tolerance for Noah's cries.

Hannah is very helpful with Noah and frequently tries to undress him (whenever I turn my back) or try to change his diaper (bringing me a clean diaper and butt cream).  Whenever its too quiet if both kids are in the other room, I know Hannah's is being sneaky with her brother.

Two Month Stats:
-Height: 23 3/4 in (73%)
-Weight: 12 lbs 1 oz (55%)
-Head Circumference: 38.1 cm (13%)

Noah has definitely shown us that he is a cuddly baby, way more than Hannah ever was.  He loves to nestle right into your arm or chest and doze off to sleep.  Unlike Hannah, he also loves to be rocked and held until he has completely fallen asleep.  Hannah couldn't wait to be put down and she would put herself to sleep from very early on.  Noah senses when you put him down and within minutes he is up again, wanting to be held to fall back asleep again.  It certainly is very different from Hannah as a baby.

Noah has been much more active these past few weeks.  He enjoys kicking his legs and he really gets himself going.  He has been laying in the keyboard-kicker-activity mat we have, and seems to enjoy watching the lights and hearing the music.  He doesn't last in there too long before he realizes he's not being held, then cries to be picked up.

Noah has been trying hard to "talk" and he is making lots of cooing noises.  His little voice is so sweet sounding!  He has discovered his hands and those are constantly being put in his mouth.  He has also found that his thumb hides inside his little fist.  I have found him sucking on his thumb on occasion.  As soon as I spot that, he gets the paci instead.  I'd rather him suck on a paci than his thumb, we can take the paci away a lot easier than his thumb.

Thankfully we've been blessed with a happy, healthy boy!  His check-up went great, no issues at all.  He is climbing the growth charts nicely, even with a small percentile for his head :)  Noah handled his shots like a champ, and spent the rest of the day pretty sleepy but overall well.  After a nice warm tubby, he was off to sleep like nothing had happened.

I thank God everyday for these three in my life!  They are my world!
