Merry Christmas to us!!

Today begins a new journey in our family, baby LaMacchia number two is on the way!!

We are so unbelievably excited as we prepare and await for the arrival of our little peanut.  Of course I didn't trust the pregnancy test, so I took it 2 times (EDIT: a third time after I wrote this post, just in case the first 2 were wrong?!)  I should have trusted the results, the pink positive line was so dark it was hard to dispute.
                                            
 

Our anticipated due date is December 26, 2013!!  We very well may have our own Christmas miracle this year :)

We truly are thrilled, over the moon excited as we add one more to our family of 3!

Girls night out!

Some of my friends from work and I went out in East Lansing to celebrate Stacey's birthday and me leaving Mother Baby at the hospital.  We had a delicious dinner at Bravo then attempted to be 21 year olds at El Az and Dublin on a Saturday night.  Clearly, we just can't hang like we used to...

I made the switch to working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sparrow.  It was a very hard decision to make leaving mother baby, I love working with newborn babies and helping in those first few days of life.  But I was ready for the move to working with a more critical newborn.  It has been a great change so far, I have learned an unbelievable amount of information in a short amount of time.  And I look forward to continuing to help families with their new babies, just in a different capacity now.
