My little baby bug is getting so big! When I look at her I see a toddler now, she is growing up way too fast. Time flies at such a rapid pace, I try to remind myself to take it all in because she will be an adult before I know it.
Hannah is using so many words, "Hi, bye-bye, love, uh-oh, so many animal names and their sounds, counts one, two, threee!, and so many others. She recognizes her name and pats her chest when you say it. She loves when you sing the Itsy Bitsy spider and tries to use her hands to imitate the song. She can point and say all her facial features, belly, hands, fingers, toes, and even tries to pick at her toe fuzzies when you take her socks off. It amazes me how quickly she picks up words and remembers them.
She is starting to play with her baby dolls more often now and will rock them if you ask her to. She doesn't seem to have an absolute favorite toy, but enjoys playing with everything. Hannah loves her books and loves to read. She can be easily amused by sitting her in pile of books for hours I swear.
Hannah enjoys dancing to music and loves when you hold her and spin around. She knows how to turn the radio on and how to adjust the volume. She will just turn on the music when she's feeling it. She is trying to hard to jump and a few times has gotten off both feet at the same time. She enjoys jumping on the couch, the bed, anything where she can squeal and hop around. She is a very active child.
She has her 4 top front and 4 bottom front teeth, 1 molar on each side of the top, and 1 on the bottom right side. She is wearing 12 month clothes still, although some pants seem to be a little shorter than others. She is wearing a 3.5-4 shoe.
This kid definitely has the appetite of her daddy. She can eat and eat and eat and who knows where she puts it all?! Hannah eats just about everything you put in front of her without complaints. She is getting pretty good at using her fork and spoon. She asks for her "milk and wa-wa" when she is thirsty and "snack" if she is hungry. She loves her cookies and Oreo's are what she loves to eat (just like her mama).
We are so lucky when it has come to the sleep department. Hannah has been sleeping 12 hours (at least) through the night since she was around 3 months old. She typically goes to bed between 8-8:30pm and wakes between 7-8am (unless her mama is trying to sleep in). She naps between 1:30-2pm and typically sleeps 2-3 hours during the day. She is not one to be cuddled and rocked to sleep, she prefers to just be laid down in her bed and she puts herself to sleep. We never wanted to have to hold her to put her to sleep anyway, we're glad she's learned to do that on her own. She LOVES her cow stuffed animal "Moo moo" and I don't know what she would do without him. She hugs and squeezes and falls asleep with him right against her chest. It is such a precious thing! I certainly hope nothing ever happens to her Moo moo or we are certainly in trouble.
Hannah is such an easy mannered baby, not fussy, not upset (unless she is tired and doesn't get what she wants). She is so happy ALL the time. I'm sure everyone says that about their own child, but she honestly is such a happy baby. We are truly blessed.
Here are her stats from the doctor's. Technically she was 16 months when she had the appointment but we will be back on track for 18 months in March.
