September Wrap-up

Wedding with my love :)

Labor Day fun at the cottage:
It was an absolutely beautiful weekend!  Sunny, cool breeze, warm water, and lots and lots of fun!  We had a campfire, smores, fun dinner with neighbors, a boat ride, trips on the jet ski with daddy, and lots of hanging around.
The kids have really enjoyed swimming in the water and both are turning into water bugs, especially Hannah.  She swims all over the place.  She borrowed a surfboard from the neighbors and was having a good time with that.
Noah is a bit more reserved, but starting to come around.

Action shots of Noah hitting the ball:   (he's got a pretty good shot!)

It was a great summer this year at the cottage, we'll see you next year!!

We celebrated Kathleen & Matt's wedding in Traverse City following Labor Day weekend.  It was an absolutely beautiful weekend, stunning reception, and full of fun times with family.  (see previous post for more pics)

We also got to visit with Bobbi & Nick and meet their newest sweetheart Julia on our way into TC for the wedding.  We were so happy to see them, spend time with Penelope, and snuggle on Julia :)

To round out our weekend up North, we headed to the East side of the state, Alpena to help surprise John's Grandma Elaine for her 83rd birthday.  It was a perfect, sunny day and lots of fun seeing family we don't normally get to see.  (see previous post for more pics!)

Once we got back home, it was time for Hannah to start school in 4 year old PreSchool at St. Gerard. (see previous post for more pics)

This begins a whole new world for Noah and I as we have a lot more special time together while Hannah is at school 4 days a week.
We also said goodbye to Owen as his momma is about to have a new baby and some time off at home.  We have loved having him and watching him grow and can't wait to see what is next :)

A new term of gymnastics started for both Hannah and Noah

We enjoyed a beautiful sunny Sunday outside so the kids decided to tackle painting:

Noah got to see the tractor in the field behind our neighbor's house, up close and personal!
He loved it!

More gymnastics fun:

Just another Saturday shenanigans with the Vogel crew!:

Fall weather is upon us as we prepare for cooler temps, Halloween, and preparation for our New Baby's arrival in 45 or so days :)

Hannah's 5th Birthday and Birthday Party

5 years have come and gone in a flash!  I can't believe my sweet, little Hannah woke up and was 5 today.

During the day, Hannah, Noah & I went to the movies and saw The Wild Life.  It was a cute movie about animals living on a tropical island and Robinson Crusoe washing to shore and changing their routine.

That night when John came home from his work trip to Mackinaw Island, we celebrated with some cupcakes, sang to her, and
she LOVED it!

We invited family over on Sat Sept 17th to help celebrate with a party.  We were blessed with almost everyone on John's side of the family's presence.  (Mine is all out of town)

Uncle Paul and Aunt Megan stopped over before they headed to the UofM game.

Hannah's Doc McStuffin's birthday theme and her cake

Snacks and conversation :)                                                   Waiting so patiently for everyone to arrive

Opening her gifts.  She truly loved everything she got!  What a happy girl :)

Thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate our sweet 5 year old's birthday!
Happy birthday Hannah!   We love you so much :)
