November Wrap-up

November showed her true Michigan weather swings.  We started off warm, sunny, and rather mild, but towards Thanksgiving the cold was blasting in full force.

We enjoyed lots of playing and adventures as usual :)

Playing with the "wild aminals" as Noah says :)

Enjoying some snuggles and his favorite Curious George watching together while Hannah is off at Preschool

Some days we finally make it out of our PJ's to play and craft together :)

We were able to attend Silver Bells once again this year in downtown Lansing.  We were able to sneak in and out of John's office right along the parade route to keep warm, enjoy food, and escape the cold in between peeking at the floats.

"Pick me up higher Daddy so I can see"              Noah was very intrigued with the lights and music

Such a fun night with our family :)

Watching and celebrating and MSU football WIN over Ohio State with the Vogel family :)

First snowfall of the year :)   Kids played outside with Brandon and Carter (our backyard neighbors) and Hannah helped Daddy shovel.

Just a fun day snuggling with my little love bugs :)

                                                          CHRISTMAS TREE TIME!!!!

Thanksgiving in PA

We were fortunate enough to be able to make the trip to PA for Thanksgiving this year.  Normally my work schedule doesn't permit me to have any time off around the holidays, but this year it did!  So we took advantage of this chance, and headed to PA to spend some time with my family.

Even though it was a short 4 day trip, it was packed full of fun!

Visiting with Mom Herr.  The kids had fun crawling all over her and Noah particularly enjoyed playing with the remote control.

We attempted to take some pictures of all the nieces/nephews (Grandkids) together to make our annual calendar (Christmas gift) for my parents.  It was an absolutely gorgeous, sunny day to spend outside in November, but the sun was un-cooperative for our picture-taking purposes!  (Or lack of professional photography skills!)  But at least we were finally able to get a picture of all 12 kids together!

                                                                  Kids playing at the Park

Thanksgiving was hosted at my sister Amy's house, where we spent the day cooking, laughing, and having a good time together.  It was a full house, but perfect!

Til next time PA!!  XOXO
