October Wrap-up

October turned into a rather cold and rainy month.  We enjoyed lots of fun play inside and when we could get outside, took full advantage of it.

Noah cheesin' while they play forts and "sleepover"

Snuggling with Mommy

Our Halloween costumes are ready for this year!
Hannah is Tinkerbell                                                   Noah is a puppy dog

I took my good friend Heather to her first MSU football game.  The game was cold and very wet/rainy but it was a good time.
Picture with Sparty                             Meeting up with Jenn before the game                  Ran into Hoover as well!

Found Katy tailgating                                               Sneaky hiding spot for my goodies!

Cold, wet game!                                We moved up because so many people left

Home after the game to snuggle with my girl!    She stayed up late to have brownies and ice cream with me!

Texting funny faces to Daddy while he's away at his boys' golf trip!

Tea party with my favorite little man :)

Noah's first try of peanut butter and jelly.  Happy to report that no peanut allergies appear in him!

After school naps with Mommy.  She rarely naps anymore,
but sometimes I can still get her to snuggle in bed with me :)

 Kids playing dress-up....Poor Noah
(he secretly loves it!)

Baby shower for Kelly/Owen Cowley.  A very special boy in our NICU family :)

I love snuggles with this happy boy!  He always wants to "nuggle"

Potter Park Zoo with our favorite friends!

Special meet and greet with the Rhinos!!     So big, but so gentle!   (I was afraid!)

Kids touching them with absolutely NO FEAR!

                                                                                       This was so cool!

Visiting the lions and monkeys......what wild animals!!

Noah crashed hard once we got into the car!

One show before bedtime.  We've been watching the Dragon series on Netflix.
It's super cute and the episodes are around 23 mins.

"See my tongue Mommy?"

Family snuggle time :)

I took a work trip to Dallas with my co-worker and friend Heather.  We had a good time sightseeing, visiting Petey (my MSU gymnastics teammate), and enjoying ourselves at the NANN conference.  (National Association of Neonatal Nurses)

This "bull seat" was in the Ladies bathroom                    Posing with wild animals :)

Having some "work" fun                     This was a great learning experience for us as Neonatal nurses.  I'm glad I had the opportunity to go!

Facetime with my kiddos-  I missed their silly faces :)                           Enjoying a fancy dinner out

Visiting the longhorns in Downtown Dalls.                       There were so many, it was crazy!

Cowboy hat souvenirs for the kiddos.                                              I sure missed these two :)

While I was away in Dallas, Hannah had her first school Fieldtrip with her Daddy to Peacock Road Tree Farm.  They saw lots of farm animals, took a hayride to pick their own pumpkins, and chased the piggies around.  Both Hannah and Daddy had a good time :)

Noah colored his own pumpkin at daycare

Hannah's Preschool Halloween party.  They did a parade around the school, then put on a little performance back in the classroom before having some fun Halloween activities in the room.  The kids were all so adorable :)

Hannah was the "calendar" helper today.  This is her favorite job in school.

Halloween night was a complete bust!  I didn't take any pictures of my kids outside, only this one of Heather, Davies, Ethan, and Lontia.  It was sleeting, raining, and a cold, windy mess.  We didn't last outside very long at all before coming back to decorate pumpkins and eat snacks.

Happy October!!  Bring on winter and the snowy weather :)
