John's Birthday Weekend

For John's 33rd birthday, he decided he didn't want to do anything, so instead we planned a nice little get-away to let the kids play.  My sister-in-law Cassie works at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, so we've been trying to make time to go visit where she works (and of course see her).  We met her and Dale there and set forth for a fun time.  This place was pretty awesome!  There were so many happy kids (and happy parents) playing and having a good time.  It was nice to get out of our house after all these weeks of cold, snowy weather and do something different.  We even managed to have a semi-sunny, semi-warmer day to enjoy ourselves.

Some fun pictures from the GRCM

After a successful play-day, we had a delicious lunch at the Greenwell.  Unfortunately, they did NOT have the beer John was craving (and the main reason we decided to have lunch there).  But now we have a reason to head back to GR again.

Thanks again Cassie and Dale for joining us!  Hope to see you again soon.

And Happy Birthday to you John!  To my amazing husband, friend, and father to our kiddos.  You never cease to amazing me with how much you do for our family.  What really gets me, is hearing you laugh with our kids, and seeing how happy they are when you walk in the door.  Their love for you is so beautiful, and how you care for them makes my heart happy.  You are a beautiful, old soul and I'm so thankful you are mine.  Love you always.
